What I've Learned In 18 Months of Operating a Coworking Site

The last 18 months have been a miraculous journey for myself and my team. Upon starting my position as an operator of a workspace in early 2021, I've learned so much about what clients big and small are looking for in a professional class work environment. People aren't just looking for conference rooms, a quiet place to take a call or limitless options in the cafe - people are looking for community.

With a background in hospitality, I have been able to ensure that when a client is met with a challenge or a need, my team and I are always here to help. Whether it's getting something as simple as setting them up on our printers, or designing a phone system platform with call forwarding, voicemail to email, and beyond - my tenants know that we will find a solution to their problem.

Clients aren't just looking for fast and efficient solutions to everyday problems in an office, they're also looking for a community feel. They want a home away from home. Somewhere they can count on us knowing their routine, their dogs name, and their upcoming trip abroad. It's the little things that add up and gone is the stereotype of going to work to sit in a miserable cubicle dreading the next morning to do the same thing. We take the time to get to know our members far before they ever sign an agreement as we want to ensure they will be a great addition to the community.

The entire reason I'm in this industry is a desire to have a startup company join our community at a base level and watch them grow into more advanced offerings, eventually taking possession of one of our amazing offices, and finally outgrow our space because their business is booming. There's really nothing like sharing the success of hard work and seeing it paid off, and VentureX Greenwood Village is here to help our clients do just that. Thanks to all of those that have allowed me to be a part of their lives, even for a short time.
